      A short (45 mins to 1 hour) behind-the-scenes tour of Keyneston Mill led by a member of our team. You’ll get a unique insight into how we go about creating oils for perfume from seed to bottle here at Keyneston Mill. Discover some of the experimental plants that we grow, harvest and distill to create our fragrances, with exclusive glimpses of the lab, the distillery, the gardens (weather permitting) the polytunnels and some of our precious oils!

      Throughout October, as part of our Rose & Geranium month, the tours will have a particular focus on the growing and distillation of rose and scented geranium. Through November/December our focus will be Spice!

      1:15pm arrival; 1:30pm start - 4:00pm

      An afternoon workshop where you'll learn about different methods of extraction, distillation and perfume making, and you'll explore the unique characteristics of some of the raw ingredients we grow and distil here at Keyneston Mill.

      A half-day introductory workshop giving an overview of the structure and theory of fragrance, and the creation of perfume ingredients and methods of distillation at Keyneston Mill. You'll come away understanding more about fragrance families, how perfumes are constructed, and how we create our fine fragrances at Parterre, from seed to bottle. Be prepared to sniff!

    From the A354, north bound - make a right off the A354 onto Langton Road. South bound - make a left off the A354 onto Langton Road. Continue for 2.2 miles. We’re located on the right.

    From the A31, northeast bound - make a left (southwest bound make a right) onto B3075, continue 1.7 miles and continue straight over the A350 for 0.6 miles, make a left at stone memorial and follow the road for 0.7 miles. We’re located on the left.

    From Wimborne Road/B3082 turn onto Galpins Cottages and continue for 1.2 miles. We’re located just straight ahead.
