Honeymoons in Dorset
Looking for a romantic honeymoon retreat in the UK?
It’s probably the most special holiday you’ll ever take together and what better destination than Dorset, where you’ll be greeted by awe-inspiring landscapes, incredible experiences, idyllic beaches and stylish hotels.
It’s the perfect setting in which to begin your married life…
Stay in your own private kingdom
The Woodman's Treehouse is a luxurious two-storey suite built around a majestic 200 year oak tree in enchanting Dorset woodland.
With all the features of a five star hotel, highlights of the treehouse include your own sauna and hot tub on the upper deck, a revolving woodburner, an open air tree-shower, a wood-fired pizza oven and a stainless steel slide!
With uninterrupted vistas through the tree canopy, this is an adults-only magical setting that guests have described as 'Utopia'.
An Elizabethan hotel in a fairytale location
Situated in the quaint and beautifully picturesque village of Corfe Castle, Morton’s Manor is a privately owned 16th-Century Elizabethan manor house hotel with beautiful antique touches and heaps of character.
The Elizabethan Room is a beautiful suite for the Bride and Groom to enjoy their honeymoon with an antique four-poster bed, lounge area, attractive fireplace and spa bathroom and dressing room.
The location of the hotel provides the perfect centre from which to explore the idyllic Isle of Purbeck, taking in the sights of the Jurassic coastline, Swanage and its famous steam railway and the beautiful beaches at Studland.
Time to escape and de-stress
After all the excitement and emotion of your wedding day, it’s time to relax and enjoy some quality time together.
Dorset has some gorgeous secluded beaches and secret coves that are just made for romancing. Imagine posh picnics, long walks on the sand together, snoozing in the dunes, free from the crowds…
Worbarrow Bay is an undisturbed crescent bay set within the MOD’s Lulworth Ranges, meaning this beach is only accessible at weekends and on specified dates. It’s worth the wait for it to open though as this secret cove has beautiful views, sea caves to explore, a grassy hill fort to clamber up and down and is reached via a picturesque 20 minute walk from the abandoned war village of Tyneham.
Church Ope Cove on Portland is the perfect secluded beach hideaway for you and your new spouse to visit and despite being the only sandy beach on Portland, it remains a sheltered haven, often very quiet, complete with its own pirate graveyard!
