Places to Stay in Lulworth

Everyone loves going on holiday and staying somewhere with views over the coast or countryside, luckily in Dorset we can provide both!

Enjoy beautiful rolling hills or amazing coastal views that will beckon you to explore the great outdoors and could be your perfect base for exploring and relaxing.

If you decide to stay in Lulworth during peak season, then booking in advance is highly recommended for this small and charming resort.

Beautiful cottages

Lulworth Holiday Cottages offer 12 beautiful and individual holiday cottages located within the Lulworth Estate. Sleeping between 2 and 18 people, they are a mix of period properties, cute cottages and converted farm buildings. Some are dog friendly and come with their own outdoor swimming pools!

Dorset Coastal Cottages and Dorset Cottage Holidays also offer an extensive range of options both within Lulworth and nearby.

Bed and Breakfast

Want a home from home stay while in Lulworth? Then choose from one of the many Bed and Breakfasts and enjoy a friendly welcome, knowledgeable hosts and a home cooked breakfast to set you up for your day of exploration in Dorset.

Boutique Hotels

There are a number of small hotels within West Lulworth village and all within an easy walk to Lulworth Cove and the South West Coast Path.

Some will have their own restaurants and swimming pools and others will have sea views. Enjoy some peace and quiet at these small, but beautiful hotels.

Country Inns

Within Lulworth and the surrounding area you will find a good range of traditional country inns and pubs with rooms. Get to know the locals and stay in period properties with welcoming hosts.

Durdle Door

You can’t stay any closer to the magnificent Durdle Door arch than at Durdle Door Holiday Park. This un-commercialised holiday park and campsite has direct access to the South West Coast Path and beautiful unspoilt beaches. Choose from cosy wooden camping pods, luxury holiday homes or why not bring your own motor-home, touring caravan or tent.

On a budget?

The village of West Lulworth has its own small 34 bed hostel. It’s basic accommodation but the views of rolling hills are stunning. You can choose from dorm rooms or private rooms and some are en-suite.

You can also camp in the hostel grounds or hire the whole hostel for group holidays.

It’s a great base for walking or activities on the Jurassic Coast.
