Farm shops

Many of Dorset’s farm shops are open and supplying a wide range of fresh, local produce. They have adapted to the current situation by offering collection or delivery services and making sure that social distancing measures are in place.

Some are also offering ready-made meals to enjoy in the comfort of your own home, along with the chance to sample some local brews such as Fursty Ferret, Hopping Hare and Tally Ho!

You might like to take a look at the Dorset Food & Drink website for some other options for where you can get Dorset's delicious local produce delivered to you.

Wine, ale, cider and gin

Dorset’s breweries and vineyards continue to offer online shops so that you can purchase your favourite tipple. The choices include red, white, rosé and sparkling wines, bottled ales and ciders, speciality gins, vodka and non alcoholic drinks too.

Treat yourself or someone else to a taste of Dorset.

Shop ethical

Are you thinking more about what you buy and the impact it has on the planet?

Many of Dorset's plastic-free or refill shops are now offering collection or delivery services to keep you stocked up on your favourite zero-waste items.

Animal adoptions

While some of our visitor attractions are currently closed, you can still adopt an animal perhaps as a birthday gift or a special surprise to brighten someone’s day.

At Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre you can adopt many of their primates including Gordon the orangutan, Hananya the chimpanzee or Peanut the golden-cheeked gibbon. You can also purchase something from their online gift shop or help with their fundraising efforts.

Become a Heavy Horse Hero or adopt one of the horses at Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park. You can also purchase gift vouchers to use at a later date.

For art connoisseurs

If you’ve visited the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum in Bournemouth, you will have been amazed at their art collection.

While the Gallery and Museum is closed, you can purchase a print from over 800 images from the collection . Every print is made to order according to your specifications and delivered direct to your door.
