    First visit. With Grandchildren who throughly enjoyed the experience. It was quiet the day we were there so the kids were able to get an uninterupted view of the monkeys and close up. Read full review

Monkey World is situated on the A31 Between Bere Regis and Wool in Dorset.

Public Transport Directions


From London Waterloo to Wool: Aproximately 2.5 hours (journey time).

Monday to Saturday: 08.05 from London Waterloo arrives at Wool at 10.34. Trains then run at 5 minutes past each hour. After 14.30 times change - please enquire.

Sundays: Please enquire as times change frequently due to track repairs.

From Wool to London Waterloo: 2.5 - 3 hours (journey time). Monday to Saturday: Trains run at 45 minutes past the hour.

Sundays: Please enquire as times change frequently due to track repairs.

Wool Railway Station is approximately 1.5 miles away from the park. There are usually taxis available at Wool Railway Station to complete your journey to the park or you can take a bus.

BY BUS: The Jurassic Coaster X55 bus service stops at Wool Railway Station and Monkey World, please click link for the timetable and more details:
