Road Directions

The pay and display car park at Durdle Door can be reached by driving through Durdle Door Holiday Park to the cliff top car park (open March to Oct inc). Out of season a small car park is available by the main gate to the Holiday Park.

From the car park, follow the main chalk track about 1/3 of a mile to the steps above the beach (N.B.There are 150 steps down to the beach - this means a short climb at the end of the day).

There are public toilets in Durdle Door Holiday Park and there is a refreshments van situated adjacent to the path.

Public Transport Directions

ARRIVING BY TRAIN: The nearest railway station is Wool (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line). Bus numbers 15, 30, X54 and X55 connect Wool Railway Station to Durdle Door Holiday Park (which is the bus stop you need for Man O' War Beach). The 15 bus operates on school days only. The X54 and X55 operate daily from 15 April until 22 September 2018. The 30 bus operates from 24 June until 15 September 2018. There is also a Taxi rank at Wool Station, but you should pre-book to guarantee availability.

ARRIVING BY BUS: There are 4 bus services. The 15 bus operates on school days only. The X54 and X55 operate daily from 15 April until 22 September 2018. The 30 bus operates daily from 24 June until 15 September 2018. Get off the bus at the Durdle Door Holiday Park stop.
