There’s plenty to relax you too; wander along the wide, flat promenade, hire a pedalo or deckchair and enjoy a lazy lunch at one of the cafés on the esplanade.

At the pretty Greenhill Gardens you can treat yourself to an ice cream whilst listening to live entertainment before testing your skills on the tennis court or putting green.

If you're out on the water, the views from Weymouth Bay are spectacular, taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

Seaside Award

We think Weymouth beach is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches, but you don't just have to our word for it! 

Weymouth beach has been awarded the Seaside Award recognising it as one of the safest and very best in the country. Environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy announced Weymouth Beach as one of many beaches in England to have won a Seaside Award.

Situated at the heart of the town is Weymouth’s bustling harbour where you can sit and watch the boats come and go and see the historic bridge lifting.

The pretty and traditional old harbour, offers plenty for visitors to see and do, including enjoying a walk or picnic at Nothe Gardens, where spectators watched the Olympic Sailing events from in 2012.

Come evening, enjoy the catch-of-the-day at one of the waterside restaurants or bistros and toast the sunset with a glass of champagne.
