Learn skills from our ancestors

Release your inner Robin Hood by learning the skills involved in archery. From perfecting your position to lining up your perfect aim. Our archery sessions are suitable for children aged 6+ and are a great introduction to this sport.

Medieval Trio – 2.5 hours of pure fun in Dorset

Spend the morning or afternoon with us at Insight Activities in Dorset, not only trying your hand at archery but also with a spot of axe throwing at targets and crossbows too.

Once you’ve had your safety briefing and demonstrations with our fully-qualified instructor, you’ll be free to move between the activities.

Our Medieval Trio sessions are suitable for children aged 12+. If you have younger children with you, those aged 6+ can join in with the archery element.

Fire and knife craft sessions

For children aged 8+, we offer a half day bushcraft session in which you can learn how to light fires safely using traditional fire lighting methods. Added to this, we’ll be working on some knife craft skills to make a wilderness camp tool.

Take your archery skills to the next level

If you’ve spent time doing archery before, or have a good aim for things, why not take your archery skills to the next level with our half day 3D archery experience? This isn’t your average target practice – here, we take you deep into the heart of our rustic Dorset woodlands for an exhilarating adventure that combines advanced archery techniques with the heart-pounding thrill of a zombie apocalypse. Suitable for ages 10+.

Dog-friendly activity centre

If you are on your holidays with your four-legged friend, you are welcome to bring them along to any of our sessions too. Our activity centre is dog-friendly, all we ask is that you keep your dog on a lead.
