Autumn is the perfect time to explore Dorset’s National Trust places, with golden woodlands, crisp coastal air, and plenty of seasonal fun for all ages. Here are five brilliant ways to get outdoors and make the most of this magical time of year - all included with standard admission (and free for National Trust members).

1. See Autumn blaze and a masterpiece at Kingston Lacy

Autumn is bright, bold and beautiful at Kingston Lacy near Wimborne, as the Acer Glade and Japanese Garden dazzle with fiery reds, yellows and oranges.
