The Dorset Tourism Awards 2017 GOLD Winner of Self Catering Business of the Year!
Greenwood Grange is a collection of beautiful stone built self catering cottages offering visitors exceptionally high quality accommodation and leisure facilities for their stay in Dorset. Open all year round the 17 houses sleep from 2 to 12 guests in each, perfect for romantic getaways, family celebrations or a traditional family holiday, there really is something for everyone.
The holiday village is open all year round and in addition to the cottages, we can offer an indoor heated swimming pool, two tennis courts, games room and outdoor play area. Many of the houses are pet friendly and have enclosed gardens so that your four legged friend can also enjoy their Dorset getaway. We also have on site a paddock with shelter available for hire for equestrian holidays. Our location on the edge of Thorncombe woods consisting of 26 hectares of ancient woodland, heathland and Roman roads has fantastic walking and cycle trails, and Thomas Hardys cottage now owned by the National Trust is just a stones throw away along with a visitor centre and café.
Short breaks are available outside of the main school holidays and start at a minimum of three nights, we are flexible on arrival days throughout the week.
Each property at Greenwood Grange makes the perfect base for you to explore Dorset, top quality fixtures and furnishings offer a real home from home feel and the friendly team on site are always ready to help. From suggestions on the best places to eat or visit in the local area to help arranging caterers or beauticians to visit your house while you stay, the team are on hand whenever you need them.
Greenwood Grange is also available to hire for wedding receptions, conferences and meetings. Conveniently located just 3 miles from Dorchester and just off the A35 link road, the complex is a real one off and we are happy to work with you to ensure your special day or event is a huge success and a day to remember.
