Swanage's walking trails 

Swanage is a fantastic location to be based for a walking holiday.  

Not only are there lots of choice of coastal and countryside walking trails, Walx Dorset are based locally and offer guided walking tours. Town history walks are available from April to September. 

The South West Coast Path national walking trail travels through Swanage connecting local landmarks and nearby villages along this section of the Jurassic Coast.

Coach parking in Swanage

There is a long-stay car park in Swanage which has parking for coaches. 

Main Beach car park on Victoria Avenue (BH19 1AP) is close to the town centre, beach and railway station and has 14 coach parking bays. 

There is also a coach drop off/pick up point on Gilbert Road close to the town centre and just a few minutes walk to Swanage Railway Station.
