Open Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm to 9pm, as well as Brunch on Fridays and Saturdays, The Narrows also have a ‘Happy Hour’ where you can enjoy a cheeky cocktail!

The Narrows is the creation of childhood friends Luke and Chris where they serve interesting and great quality food with an enjoyable atmosphere. On their Brunch menu you’ll find the likes of Homemade Granola, Eggs Benny and Shakshuka. For Dinner, choose from the Snack Menu which includes Croquettes, Sweetcorn Fritters and Chicken Wings small plates, or opt for heartier meals such as Beef Shin Sliders, Dirty Martini Salmon and Crab on Spuds.

Smoke On The Water

Smoke On The Water restaurant in Swanage, Dorset

With views across Swanage Bay to the Pier and Ballard Down, Smoke On The Water is the new waterfront restaurant in town.

They have alfresco dining on their outdoor terrace, or if you’d prefer to be inside, their large floor to ceiling windows have fantastic views out to sea.

Open everyday 10am to 10pm, it’s the perfect seaside spot for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks.

Brunch is served until 2pm and includes Huevos Rancheros, Sweet Franch Toast and Smashed Avo amongst more traditional choices. 

Stop by for Dinner from 4pm and choose from Nachos, Salt and Pepper Squid, Ribs, BBQ Jackfuit, and much more. Why not try one of their Meat, Veggie or Vegan Pit Trays for something a little different!

The Corner Mediterranean Restaurant

The Corner is a café, bar and restaurant serves freshly cooked food, stonebaked pizzas, coffee and deserts.

Offering a fine dining restaurant with locally sourced ingredients, there is space for 20 guests in this intimate setting with candlelit tables.

Located opposite Swanage Station, you’ll get the chance to see the arrival of the Swanage Railway steam trains as they puff their way to this charming seaside town.

Enjoy meze, flat breads, salads, pastas and pizzas from the menu, as well as the Italian classics of Tiramisu and Affogato for dessert.

Burnt Toast

Offering coffee, breakfast and brunch, Burnt Toast is open 7 days a week from 7am until 3pm.

With menu options including Build Your Own Brioche and Hash Brown Pile Up, this is not your usual breakfast café. And of course there’s toast! French Toast, Burrata Toast, Shrooms on Toast and lots more choices.

Accessed from Kings Road East, this small café has light and airy seating at the front and more seating at the back, with a door leading out onto the delightful shops in Commercial Lane.

Carve Coffee Beach Café

Located on the seafront next to the Information Centre, this beachside café offers top-tier coffee plus local sweet and savoury baked goods.

Open 7 days a week from 7:30am until 4pm, it’s got one of the best beach views in town!

Their coffee is roasted in-house at their Roastery and Brew Bar in Swanage, so if you like what you taste, you can buy some to take home with you.
