Easter Events in Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis comes alive over the Easter bank holiday weekend with colourful celebrations and much‑loved traditions.

One of the town’s most iconic events, the legendary Easter Bonnet Parade, fills the streets with colour, creativity and community spirit. Whether you craft your own show‑stopping bonnet or simply come along to watch the cheerful procession, it’s a bright and joyful highlight of the weekend.

On Easter Monday, join the crowds along the River Lym for the annual Duck Race — a simple, classic and fun event that always delights younger visitors (and grown‑ups too!).

The Town Mill will be open daily throughout the Easter holidays, with the historic waterwheel turning and live flour‑milling demonstrations led by the Millers. Children can complete fun activity sheets during their visit and across the holidays, a range of special Easter events will take place, including a delicious Easter Tasting Table on Monday 30th March, hands‑on Mini Millers sessions on selected dates where children can mill their own flour and take home an Easter biscuit kit, and a magical Easter Egg Delivery on Thursday 2nd April, where eggs will be transported through the mill using the ancient sack hoist. No matter which day you visit, there will be plenty to see, taste and explore at the Mill this Easter.

Keep an eye on our What’s On page, as new Easter events are added in the run‑up to the holidays.
