Dorset Festivals & Seasonal Events

Among the huge variety of events going on in and around the county throughout the year you will find some fantastic festivals and seasonal events in Dorset. From boogie woogie to kites, from beer to steam engines, from music to towns you're sure to find something at one of the many events Dorset has to offer in 2010.

Whether it's a bustling festival on the golden sands of Weymouth, a tranquil day spent discovering one of the far corners of the county, or weekend spent sleeping in a tent and watching some of your favourite bands Dorset's got it all.

Spring is Here at Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens, 8th February - 30th April. Spring is here! Enjoy the spectacular spring colour, Camellia Groves and Magnolias at Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens.

Gloria - Sherborne Chamber Choir, 13th March. An evening of music with brass and organ to celebrate the choir's 30th anniversary, including the premiere of a specially commissioned setting of the Te Deum by David Bednall.

Spring Lambing Weekend, 13th - 14th March. Come and meet the animals at our animal park at this special time of year when we are welcoming newborn lambs into the big wide world!

Billy Bragg and The Proclaimers26th March. The Electric Palace is excited to announce that world famous musicians The Proclaimers and Billy Bragg will be performing together for legal action charity Reprieve.
