Digital Marketing
With the vast majority of trips, short breaks and holidays being planned and booked online, we are focussed on reaching consumers across the digital ecosystem.
We make it easy for visitors to find useful Dorset information through search engines, share our inspirational Dorset stories across the most popular social media platforms, and highlight the services of our business members to ensure they enjoy a memorable trip to Dorset as well as contributing value to the overall tourism economy.
Visit Dorset Website

The Visit Dorset team are currently working with external media specialists, RH Partners, to implement a 2 year social media strategy to promote Dorset and the tourism businesses featured on visit-dorset.com. With a carefully planned schedule of activity designed to make the most of local and national events, inspirational holiday ideas, key holiday dates and competitions, the campaign aims to help us grow our current fan base of over 60,000 fans and followers and interact with potential visitors to encourage more holidays in Dorset.
We encourage our business members to take advantage of our huge number of followers and fan by engaging with us, posting to our page or tagging us in tweets, so that we can share their promotions, competitions, last minute availability and news stories. We run regular competitions through our social media channels and on our website. If you would like to offer a prize, get in touch.
