You are here: What's On > Pine Walk Art Exhibition
COVID-19 update. Currently closed until further notice due to the national lockdown announced 4th January 2021.
One of the longest running open air exhibitions in the country, enjoy art in the gardens
Art @ Pine Walk was set up almost 60 years ago and is a popular place for artists to show their work, and art lovers to browse and buy it. Displays include painting, photography, sculptures and digital art.
It is now called Westover art and makers market.
Visiting the exhibition
This year, Westover Art and Makers Market will initially re-open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only.
The exhibition is open to a wide range of artists: painters (watercolour paintings, oil paintings and much more); photographers; sculptors and all artists creating a broad range of art for all to enjoy.
Situated in the Lower Gardens in the very heart of the town, this relaxing, slow paced stroll is a feast for the eyes. Here you will find a delightful display of painting exhibited by the artists themselves who are on hand to discuss their work with you.
You can also sit and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat at the Picnic Park Deli, a refreshing oasis set amongst the cool pine trees, far from the hubbub of the busy town centre.
Having been an annual fixture in the town’s calendar for over fifty years, Pinewalk has long enjoyed a reputation as a great platform for artists of all levels and renown. Specialising in paintings, photographs and sculpture, it gives those attending the chance to enjoy a broad selection of pieces, whilst discovering some of the South Coast’s most peaceful and beautiful public gardens.
We also welcome local food producers
The exhibition area is now open to local food producers. You can find out more here or Contact us for more information.
