You are here: What's On > Inside Out Dorset Festival
Inside Out Dorset festival returns between 17 September - 26 September 2021 (the previous event date was 11 - 27 September 2020).
We'll be revealing the festival locations very soon, look out for volunteering opportunities and check out the artists already lined up thanks to funding from Jerwood Arts.
Artists Lorna Rees and Dave Young will develop, create and perform site responsive pieces to engage audiences in the rural landscape.
Lorna Rees will create Geophonic, a performance and sound walk, encouraging audiences to listen to the geological processes of the Earth. Audiences will use custom-made, recycled plastic geophones, akin to large gramophone horns, to listen to different points on a journey guided by four performers.
