You are here: What's On > Brownsea Bird Boats
The National Trust, Dorset Wildlife Trust and the RSPB have joined forces to offer the rare opportunity to view one of the best autumn and winter bird spectacles in the UK and exclusive access to Brownsea Island when it is closed to the public.
Offering a two hour landing on Brownsea Island with the hides on Brownsea lagoon offering the perfect perch to admire the numerous different bird species that feed here.
Visitors can either explore the island alone or join a guided walk that will take in other species of wildlife that call Brownsea their home such as the rare red squirrel. Enjoy some delicious home cooked soup and a roll to warm your toes then hop aboard your boat for a guided cruise around the harbour with the experts from Dorset Wildlife Trust and RSPB.
Please be aware that the boats may be cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
