You are here: Visitor Information > Travel Information > Maiden Newton Train Station
Nestling between scenic rolling hills in the Frome valley, there are some wonderful opportunities to explore stunning countryside from the station at Maiden Newton.
Beside the main station building you will find the "Welcome" poster designed by the local community to give you all the information you need to find your way round the village.
There is a cosy coffee shop and restaurant - combined with the newsagents.
You can explore the nearby watermeadows alongside the River Frome - a haven for wildlife with waterbirds and traditional meadow flowers.
