You are here: Things To Do > Wareham Walls
The Walls are Saxon ramparts which surround the historic town of Wareham.
Footpaths on top of the walls give good views of the River Piddle and town, and link into the ‘Bowling Green’ open space. Different grass cutting times encourage a variety of wildflowers.
Interpretation boards are situated alongside the route of the Walls and a 'Walls Walks' leaflet is available from Discover Purbeck Information Centre, South Street, Wareham. 01929 552740.
