From the West, come South from Wareham on the A351, turn left just before Corfe Castle onto the B3351 to Studland. Continue through the village towards the Sandbanks ferry.
From Poole or Bournemouth area, follow signs to Sandbanks and cross over on the ferry. If coming by car during busy periods, it is often advisable to park on the Sandbanks side and board the ferry as a foot passenger.
Parking - There is no vehicle access to boatyard. Car/motorcycle parking is available in the National trust carpark (free to NT members) immediately opposite the boatyard, or at the roadside on Ferry Road. You should expect to encounter traffic congestion at peak times in high season. A limited amount of cycle parking space is available next to the sailing centre.
FROM THE WEST: the nearest mainline railway station is Wareham (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line). Catch the number 40 bus from Wareham Railway Station to Swanage Bus/Railway Station (this bus route starts in Poole). Then transfer to the number 50 bus to Studland.
FROM THE EAST: Catch the train to Bournemouth then switch to bus number 50 bus to Studland.
