You are here: Things To Do > Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium
Discover the creatures of the seashore and deeper waters of the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, a traditional family run seaside attraction which prides itself on its mission to drive knowledge of local marine life through engagement and interaction.
Visitors have the opportunity to get hands on and up close with sea creatures including the mullet feeding experience where children and adults alike marvel as a shoal of grey mullet gently suck food directly from the hand.
Starfish are fascinating creatures and when you visit the aquarium you'll get the chance to hold one in the palm of your hand as well as getting up close with lobsters and crabs.
Even though it's compact in size, there are number of marine life exhibits including bass, ballan wrasse, blennies, topknot, sea mice and dogfish.
There's also an area featuring presentations on local maritime history, video displays on the Lyme Bay reefs and footage of stormy seas and dolphins in Lyme Bay.
If you book your tickets through the website at www.lymeregismarineaquarium.co.uk you can save 10%.
