You are here: Things To Do > Isle of Purbeck Golf Club
The Isle of Purbeck Golf Club offers 2 courses with stunning views over Poole Harbour, clubhouse facilities, golf lessons, putting school and a Pro Shop.
The Club dates back to 1892 and among the past owners who were responsible for the extension to 27 holes were Enid Blyton, the legendary writer of children's books and her husband Dr Darrell-Waters. The courses are built on heathland and are set within a nature reserve where many rare plants can be seen as well as rare birds. The restaurant has a well deserved reputation for excellent fare and very good value.
The Dene Course is a 9 hole course ideal for golfers of all abilities. Beginners are welcome and the dress code is more relaxed than on the Purbeck Course. Please note dress code for the clubhouse.
The Purbeck Championship course proves an exciting test for even the most accomplished golfer.
We hope to make your next visit a day to remember.

If using SatNav and travelling via the sandbanks ferry, please do not leave the B3351 and turn left towards Swanage after the ferry crossing as your satellite navigation indicates. Instead, keep going straight on the B3351 towards Corfe Castle and you will find us on the right hand side of the road.
