Swanage Pier

Purchasing a membership with the Friends of Swanage Pier for £24 allows you to enjoy spectacular views of Swanage Bay all year round, receive newsletters detailing the latest restoration news and be the first to know about upcoming events.

Alternatively, a donation of £125 will provide a brass plaque fixed to a plank on the Pier. Each plaque can be engraved with a message up to 30 letters. Your plaque may just be an individual's name and date, a group, club, society or company or it may be a message in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a new birth or anniversary. The Tank Museum

When you buy a full price ticket for The Tank Museum you’ll receive an annual pass for free. The pass allows you to visit the Museum as many times as you want for one year (excluding Special Event days).

Online prices are £14 for adults, £8.75 for children (ages 5-16) and from £27.50 for families.

Highcliffe Castle

Once the home of Mr Harry Selfridge, Highcliffe Castle has been described as arguably the most important surviving house of the Romantic and Picturesque style of architecture. 

The surrounding grounds are perfect for a relaxing stroll or a family picnic on the lawns. There is direct access to both a wonderful sandy beach and the unspoilt nature reserve of nearby Steamer Point.

Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre

Adopt one of Monkey Worlds adorable orangutans, chimps, gibbons or monkeys and you’ll receive an annual pass as part of the adoption pack.

Museum of Jurassic Marine Life

There is free annual admission with every ticket purchased at the Museum of Jurassic Marine Life in Kimmeridge.

Housing the finest single collection of Late Jurassic age fossils all found by just one man, Dr Steve Etches MBE - you will be mesmerized by sea monsters, prehistoric predators and the marine flora and fauna of 152-157 million years ago when Kimmeridge was but a shallow, tropical sea.

The annual pass is valid for one year from the date shown on your till receipt (which must be retained for re-admission).

Prices are £8 for adults, £4 for children (5-16 years) and from £16 for families.

Abbotsbury Swannery & Sub Tropical Gardens

Two attractions for the price of one, this season ticket gives unlimited visits to Abbotsbury Swannery and the Sub-Tropical Gardens during normal opening hours.

The Swannery will be re-opening after their winter closure in March while the Gardens are open all year round.

Ticket prices are £39.95 for adults, £35.95 for children and £89.95 for families. You can purchase the tickets online and you can either have them posted or collect in person on your first visit.

Moors Valley Country Park & Forest

If you love visiting Moors Valley, you can get an annual car park pass to save money and time. The entry gates will automatically recognise your car registration and you can spend the whole day relaxing in the park without the worry of when your parking ticket will expire.

There are various different options to choose from and monthly direct debits are also available. The price for 1 car is £62 and 2 cars is £72 (cars must be registered at the same address). There is also a Quiet Times ticket for midweek visits at £30, Earlybird Weekenders at £22 and Two Week ticket at £21.

Nothe Fort

One of Weymouth’s premier visitor attractions, Nothe Fort offers something for the whole family.

Enjoy the stunning views of the Jurassic Coast from the picnic areas on the ramparts and newly-opened terrace, or go underground and explore the many tunnels and secret passageways beneath the fort, including the spooky ghost tunnel.

14 month tickets are priced at £8 for adults, £7 for seniors and students, £2 for children and from £10 for families.

Swanage Railway

Set in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck and running alongside picturesque sights such as Corfe Castle, Swanage Railway is a nostalgic trip back in time and a favourite with youngsters.

Bennetts Water Gardens

Home to tranquil lakes and a world famous lily collection, Bennetts Water Gardens in Weymouth holds the National Plant Collection© of Water Lilies with a Monet style Bridge as the centrepiece.

The Gardens re-open in March and single adults tickets are £29.99, 2 adults £49.99 and family £59.99. You can save money by purchasing online.

Keyneston Mill

The creative and experimental home of Parterre Fragrances, Keyneston Mill is the largest private botanic gardens in the country dedicated solely to aromatic and scented plants. With over 1,500 varieties in a 50-acre estate, the key ingredients of Parterre luxury perfumes are grown, harvested and distilled here.

The Friends of Keyneston Mill Annual Membership costs £25 allows unlimited garden entry for yourself and one other, a regular online newsletter and exclusive promotional discounts on experiences, events and perfume products.

Mapperton Gardens

A 2021 Garden Pass for Mapperton allows an unlimited number of visits during the year plus a discount when you visit the cafe and shop.

Winner of Historic Houses Garden of the Year 2020, the Gardens are usually open from late February for the popular Snowdrop Sundays, then Sunday to Thursday from March and close late Autumn or early Winter.

Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum

The Russell-Cotes was the home of two Victorian collectors and travel enthusiasts, Sir Merton and Lady Annie Russell-Cotes. They filled this exotic seaside villa with beautiful objects from their travels across the world, and lined the walls with a remarkable collection of British art, creating a unique atmosphere in a most dramatic setting.

National Trust

There are many National Trust properties in Dorset including Corfe Castle, Kingston Lacy, Brownsea Island and Studland Bay.

A National Trust membership allows free entry to many of their castles, houses and gardens across the country, free parking at most of their car parks, a members handbook and magazine three times a year.

The Museum of East Dorset

At over 200 acres, these impressive gardens (created and managed by the Rothschild family) border the Beaulieu River and boast a narrow-gauge steam railway, plus a newly refurbished restaurant and an outdoor cafe.

Friends of Exbury Gardens gain unlimited garden entry and train rides, discounts in the restaurant and gift shop, monthly e-newsletters including offers, competitions, flowering updates and gardening tips, plus invitations to exclusive Friends of Exbury tours and talks.

Minterne Gardens

The secluded gardens at Minterne, famed for its seasonal profusion of Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Japanese cherries and Magnolias are set in a peaceful wooded valley and have been described by Simon Jenkins as ‘corner of paradise.’
