*LATEST UPDATE* The Green Man re-opened on 15th April for outside dining and drinking.
A cosy, welcoming atmosphere greets you at the Green Man, ideally located two minute’s walk from the heart of Wimborne. Offering a wide selection of real ales, beers, wines and soft drinks, the Green Man also has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, served until 4pm. Our popular Steak nights are the last Wednesday of every other month with a different food night offered on alternate Wednesdays, please call to book your table.
We have something to offer everyone; for those looking for a quiet meal, we have a separate dining area away from the bar, outside patio and secluded areas to enjoy the summer, plus a pool room, quiz machine and darts boards for the competitive types.
The Green Man’ is an ideal starting point for those who enjoy country walks. The River Stour is just moments away, and there are a number of country footpaths and nature reserves within the vicinity. If you are a keen cyclist, out for a walk with your dog or on your way home from mucking out your horse, we are the ideal pit stop, where our log burner will warm!
We also have events running throughout the year, from charity coffee mornings and car washes, to themed food nights. Check our Events page to see what’s coming up.
Thursday night is Quiz night with a difference, including live music and Play your cards right! A great range of prizes is on offer, plus hot food is available to keep your brain working!
