Situated just a short walk from the picturesque, medieval town of Wareham - a lively market town with pubs, restaurants and an excellent tourist information centre. Twiga House B and B, with off road parking and a mainline train station just five minutes away, is an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic coast and the beautiful Dorset countryside, including Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Kimmeridge, Arne, Studland Beach and of course, Monkey World.
The area abounds in forest trails, coastal paths and amazing flora and fauna - perfect for cyclists, walkers and lovers of the great outdoors.
Twiga House offers:
2 Spacious en-suite bedrooms with king size beds and full amenities, including TV, Free Wifi, Tea/Coffee facilities, Gowns and Slippers.
1 Family suite with 2 bedrooms and an en- suite full bathroom with inter-leading doors. The main bedroom has a double bed and the smaller one a single bed with the option for a second single. The suite also has full amenities including TV, Wifi, tea/coffee making facilities, gowns and slippers.
Guest accommodation is situated on the first floor and guests are welcome to enjoy the large garden and in cooler weather the Summer house creates the perfect spot for a cup of tea or glass of wine.
Breakfast products are all locally sourced and where possible organic.
Both traditional and healthier breakfast options are available.
We are open from March to November.

From the west and the east: the nearest mainline railway station is Wareham (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line). Sandford Road leads down to the station - it is a five minute walk up the road to Number 6 Twiga House. You can buy a combined train and bus ticket from any staffed South West Train station for this journey. Turn right, onto A351,signpost Wareham.From Poole – A35 towards Dorchester until Lytchett Minster (Bakers Arms Roundabout) and roundabout take first exit A351 to Wareham.From Swanage – A351 signpost Corfe Castle and Wareham. At Worgret roundabout take 3rd exit, signpost Wareham (Worgret Road).From Dorchester – A352 signpost Wareham. At Worgret roundabout continue straight over signpost Wareham (Worgret Road). From Weymouth – A353 signpost Wareham. At Warmwell roundabout, take 3rd exit onto A352,signpost Wareham. At Worgret roundabout continue straight over signpost Wareham (Worgret Road).
By Bus to Wareham Railway Station - the nearest bus stop to Twiga House. From Bournemouth take the M1 or M2 to Poole, then transfer to number 40 or X54. From Poole take the number 40 or X54. From Swanage take the number 30 or 40. From Weymouth take the number 30 or X54. By Train: Wareham Railway Station (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line) is only a short walk to Twiga House.
