*Weekly: Saturday to Saturday
Pleases note from 2016 to 2019 we were almost fully booked (90% occupancy rate) from beginning of May to end of October and therefore priority bookings will therefore be given to full weekly bookings although short breaks may be available at the very last moment. *These short breaks of 3 or 4 days will run from midday Monday to midday Friday and are priced at two thirds the cost of the full week’s rent for 3 nights.
The best way to get to us is to follow the brown sign which you will see in the middle of the village to Middle & South Beach, whether you are approaching Studland from the Sandbanks Ferry Crossing or Swanage. Fork almost immediately right to South Beach turning into Rectory Lane. Take the first graveled driveway on the right (not shown on the map) for about 100 metres and keeping right, go to the end of this driveway for Stable Cottage – the entrance is a 5 bar farm gate.
To Studland
From the west: The nearest mainline railway station is Wareham (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line). Catch the number 40 or bus from Wareham Railway Station to Swanage Bus/Railway Station. Then transfer to the number 50 bus to Studland.
From the east: Catch the train to Bournemouth Railway Station then transfer to the number 50 bus to Studland.
The Lych Gate bus stop is 200 metres down the lane from the cottage. Look for the brown sign to Middle & South Beach and then fork almost immediately right to South Beach. You will now be in Rectory Lane. Take the first graveled driveway on the right and you will find Stable Cottage at the end of the driveway – 5 bar farm gate.
