AA OVERALL WINNER OF THE UK CARAVAN AND CAMPING PARK AWARD 2016
Set in over 20 acres of tranquil parkland on the former Lytchett Manor estate, this top quality caravan, motorhome and camping park offers every modern facility in an idyllic location.
In the pretty Dorset countryside, just 3 miles from Poole and 20 minutes drive from Bournemouth, South Lytchett Manor is an ideal base for exploring outstanding local beauty spots, places of historic interest and a wide variety of nearby family attractions.
Superbly maintained and continually improved, South Lytchett Manor has long been a firm favourite with caravanners and campers alike, many of who return year after year to enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere on this family-run campsite.
The park is known far and wide for its clean and modern facilities. Great examples are the new shower rooms which are luxurious, heated amenities of the highest standard. The site also offers a wide range of walks through manicured parkland, a two and a half acre mown lead dog walking field with access to the village pub, and there's even a regular bus service which stops right outside the park gates.
This combination of excellent facilities and ideal location makes South Lytchett Manor one of the top holiday campsites - not only in Dorset, but in the whole UK, as numerous awards have testified. In fact for an amazing seventh year in succession, South Lytchett Manor has been voted the best park in Dorset by Practical Caravan readers, Winner of the Dorset Tourism Awards 2018 and it has also picked up the accolade of Best Park in UK 2015 by Practical Motorhome readers.
Visitors to the site this year will be treated to even better facilities, including a smart, new paddock offering a variety of pitches sited in full sunshine - some boasting stunning views of Burdens Park. These spacious, deluxe pitches have their own water, drainage, TV hook-up and even their own picnic benches.
Remember, if you book this year, you will receive a warm welcome of free tea and coffee on your first visit to the Courtyard Craft Centre - a three minute stroll away through the park. Just visit Dylan's Cafe and Restaurant and drink in the holiday atmosphere. You can also take advantage of a free bottle of wine at the local pub, St Peter's Finger, when you order two main meals. What better way to start your holiday!
