Mortons Manor is a Grade II listed Elizabethan Manor House, sitting at the base of Corfe Castle steeped full of history dating back to 1590. The Tudor building was built in the shape of an ‘E’ to honour Queen Elizabeth who stayed here. Located in the heart of the Purbecks, the hotel is family owned and proud of its three-star AA award for hospitality.
The guest bedrooms at Mortons Manor are perfect after exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside or Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. We have 21 bedrooms and something to suit everyone. All guest rooms are finished to a high standard with a light and fresh feel to them. Our Manor Doubles have been individually styled and show off the Manor Houses character, some have stunning views of Corfe Castle, whilst others overlook the pretty terrace or our herb garden.
Our award-winning two rosette restaurant is at the heart of Mortons Manor and sources from local Purbeck suppliers where possible for fresh ingredients, that together create a delicious and memorable experience.
Mortons Manor is nestled in Corfe village which is an idyllic, unspoilt English village built in the local Purbeck stone and dominated by the ruins of the Norman Castle also known as Corfe Castle. The Isle of Purbeck is renowned for some of the country’s most beautiful places to visit, from the miles of sandy beaches that line the Jurassic Coast to the heathlands and countryside. Mortons Manor will provide a perfect place to explore the surrounding area.
The Mortons Manor team looks forward to offering you a very warm welcome
