The Local Area
Set in 650 Acres of beautiful rolling downland, Luccombe Farm is within walking distance of the historic thatched village, Milton Abbas. Here you can find the 15th Century Milton Abbey, a post office, farm shop as well as an excellent pub & restaurant serving gourmet meals.
Rural Dorset is one of the most peaceful, beautiful and genuinely unspoilt areas in England, where you are never too far from the stunning heritage coastline as well as local towns including the market town of Dorchester, which is home to the famous Thomas Hardy novels. Also nearby are Weymouth, Wareham, Blandford and Poole.
There's an abundance of attractions and activities to do locally including Monkey World, the Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove and Castle, Studland, Durdle Door and its only 20 miles to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site where you can find some breath-taking scenery, beaches and fantastic walks.
Available Extras
Seasonal fruit from our orchard and herbs from our garden. You are welcome to enjoy our apples, plums, pears and other fruits from our orchard when they are available, as well as a variety of herbs form the herb garden by the BBQ area.
Young or old, there is something for everyone at Luccombe.

Directions (for sat navs please use the postcode DT11 0BD)
Approach Luccombe from Winterborne Whitechurch which is on the A354, using the signed Milton Abbas road. Our well signed entrance cannot be missed, as it is the only one, and is exactly 1.5 miles along that road on the left hand side. The private lane is surfaced with tarmac. Just keep on going straight ahead for about ¾ mile over several sleeping policemen. You will pass the riding school and then the attractive Business Centre, the grain store and several houses and barns. Finally you will drop down into our hidden valley and recognise your chosen cottage using our cottage layout map.
