Golden Acre - Pet Friendly Holidays On Dorset's Jurassic Coast and the Fisherman's Daughter
Gold WINNER of the 2017 Dorset Tourism Awards for Dog Friendly Business of the Year.
Golden Acre is a small self catering, private chalet park with 21 bungalows and is probably the most 'dog friendly' you will ever find. We are situated on the World Heritage status Jurassic Coast and the beautiful South West Coast Path - a must for all walkers with wonderful scenery.
Where your pets are always made welcome. Our guests can bring more than one pet free of charge.
The park is situated on the slope of a valley leading to Eype beach (pronounced as in 'peep') a short stroll away. The park is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for that relaxing get away by the coast. Dogs are allowed on the beach 'all year round'.
Eype Village - Eype is a beautiful and peaceful West Dorset village nestled in a valley leading to Eype beach. Our villages public house and hotel welcome dogs and their owners.
The Fisherman's Daughter is a unique beachfront retreat situated in the lovely coastal village of West Bexington on Chesil Beach and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, with private access to the beach. The retreat boasts wonderful sea views across Lyme Bay. To the rear of the chalet you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views in one of our sun loungers on the timber decking, accessible from the gate to the side of the property or directly from the bedroom up a few steps.
West Bexington - Is a small coastal village on the Chesil Beach, between Burton Bradstock and Abbotsbury surrounded by National Trust land. Although the village is small, West Bexington has a lot to offer its visitors. You can enjoy year round sea fishing from the beach, catching Mackerel and Bass.
