Key Features

  • Family - Cliff Cottage is very family friendly for children of all ages. We have teenagers asking for the dinosaur bedding to be on the single beds when they return. Toys, children's books and sand toys are all available and the cottage has been decorated to be practical and easy to keep clean.
  • Midweek breaks - Short breaks available all year except August. Please telephone for details
  • Non smoking establishment - Please note that Cliff Cottage is a non-smoking establishment. Thank you.
  • Romantic - Cliff Cottage is a quaint historic cottage with a view of the ancient Cobb from the double bed in the main bedroom. That's romantic. Proposals have been made!
  • Seafront - The cottage is one of the quaint cottages that form Lyme's iconic seafront.

  • Towels Available - Towels for use in the cottage only are included in our rates. Visitors are asked to bring their own towels for beach use.
  • Washing Machine - Hotpoint Aquarius 7kg washing machine and Bosch Classixx 7 tumble drier.There is a washing line in the back garden which is a great boon with wet costumes, wetsuits and towels. Iron and ironing board also provided.

Road Directions

From A35Take A3052 in to Lyme Regis. Proceed down hill into town. After a set of traffic lights at the bottom of the hill there is a sharp bend to the right. Follow this and turn left through a carpark onto the seafront. Drive along Lower Parade. The cottage is on the right on the Upper Parade. Turn at ramp leading to Bay Hotel and park near to set of steps only to unload and load.

Public Transport Directions

From Axminster Train Station From the station either take a taxi or Number 31 bus to Lyme Regis. Bus - Jurassic Coast Bus X53 and Number 31. Disembark at The Square at the bottom of the town very close to the seafront.
