You are here: Accommodation > Bradle Farmhouse
Bradle Farm lies in a valley 3 miles west of Corfe Castle surrounded by the Purbeck Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Whilst the original farmhouse and farm are mentioned in the Doomsday book before being destroyed by fire, the present day farmhouse was built in 1862 of local Purbeck stone still retaining much of the character and style of the original.
Our accommodation is spacious - consisting of 2 large double en suite rooms and a twin with en suite - all decorated and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast is served in the dining-room using some of our own fresh produce, home-made jams and marmalades. The house is centrally heated and there is a wood burner in the dining-room.
We are a working farm and guests are welcome to look around. Our land extends up to Swyre Head which is the highest point in Purbeck and down to Kimmeridge Bay so is an ideal base for coastal or inland walks along the Purbeck Hills.
There is an excellent pub at Church Knowle which is 1 mile away. We also run a Cafe and in Kimmeridge 1 mile away which is open all year. Evening meals are available in the summer months June, July and August please check website www.clavells restaurant.co.uk
