Nestled in the Plush Valley just off the Wessex Ridgeway, The Brace is the quintessential Old English thatched country pub. The perfect location to enjoy a break away from it all.
The village is located in the very heart of Dorset between the county town of Dorchester and the historic picturesque town of Sherborne. Set within rolling hills and mile upon mile of stunning countryside it provides the perfect base from which to explore the delights of Dorset. Many of the county's leading visitor attractions and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast is are only a short drive away.
We have eight luxury en-suite bedrooms, four in our renovated skittle alley and a further four above the pub itself. All rooms provide chic comfortable furnishings and luxurious well-appointed bathrooms offering a more than comfortable stay. After a day of exploring all Dorset has to offer you'll enjoy our cosy comfortable beds and awake well rested to enjoy our wonder breakfast options.
Our stylish rooms come with flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities including Jurassic Spring water and Dorset Tea, plus complimentary luxury Nobel Isle toiletries to enjoy.
We have award winning food on offer from our seasonal menu, using the very best local suppliers providing the very best local produce. We are very passionate in pairing the best wines with our vibrant menu to make sure you enjoy a memorable dining experience.
