Andrewshayes is an award winning holiday park in East Devon, set in beautiful countryside overlooking the valleys and rolling hills around the pretty village of Dalwood.
Accomodation ranges from luxury lodge style self catering and traditional static caravans, to cosy glamping pods and camping pitches.
Just 6 miles inland overlooking the valleys and rolling hills around the pretty village of Dalwood, the park is a short drive inland from the popular seaside resorts of Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seaton on the Jurassic Coast. It's an ideal location to explore West Dorset and East Devon.
Whatever type of holiday accommodation you are looking for, you will not be disappointed at this family run park.
There are terraced pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents as well as three lovely glamping pods with proper beds and private decking.
The park also has a range of holiday caravans to hire including luxury models with hot tubs. In 2019 Andrewshayes opened a super new development of lodge style caravans. The exclusive Orchard Retreat units have private decking and countryside views, some with hots tubs and a pet friendly option, perfect for a relaxing holiday or short break.
Andrewshayes is very well kept with many mature trees around the park. Flower baskets, colourful shrub borders and trees separating pitches, make this a really pleasant base for a holiday.
A favourite at Andrewshayes is the large heated swimming pool with an impressive glass retractable cover, plenty of sun chairs are provided on the lovely patio. To keep children amused there's a play area, toddler soft play, games room and outdoor table tennis. For ball games and dog exercise the park has a large recreation field and a woodland walk.
You can enjoy a relaxing drink try the licensed bar and cafe (please note seasonal opening times). The café and takeaway are available at weekends and daily in peak season, ideal for when you don't feel like cooking yourself.
The facilities on site for campers include two very clean toilet blocks with accessible shower / family rooms, as well as covered dishwashing area, a laundry room and a microwave and freezer for visitors’ use.
Just a 15 minute drive will take you to the coast at Charmouth, Lyme Regis or Seaton for relaxing days on the beach, fossil hunting or coast path walks. There is plenty of choice for local days out, including country houses and gardens, family attractions such as Crealy Adventure Park or Pecorama with its miniature railways and indoor soft play area, Seaton Jurassic and the unique Seaton Tramway. The attractive Cathedral City of Exeter is just 30 minutes away and in under an hour you can be exploring Dartmoor.
Combined with nearby local country pubs and choice of wonderful cream teas or fish and chips by the seaside, Andrewshayes is great place for your holiday.
