Running as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad as an Inspire mark project since 2009, Teenage Rampage aims to identify and support under-19 musicians and young people across the South West region. Through a series of “heats”, the South West’s best young musical talent gets a showcase and the opportunity to go on to work with music professionals through a series of workshops.
What’s more, working with professional film makers and event managers, Teenage Rampage also provides opportunities for young film makers and apprentices to further their careers and aspirations.
Over the Summer of 2012, Teenage Rampage will culminate in stage performances for past winners on the beach at Weymouth and a full blown gig for the 2012 heat winners as part of Count Me In Weekend on September 8th and 9th.
