The route is 2.5 miles long and meanders along the sea front, through the town and back to Sandpit Field.

Thousands of revellers enjoy the spectacle provided by the colourful dance troupes, walkers in fancy dress, themed tableaux and, of course, the music!

Marching bands play a wide spectrum of musical styles from Traditional Military and Latin American to Rock ‘n Roll and Pop. Finally, the amazing costumed Rampage Carnival Club perform to the infectious beat of the Caribbean.

There is something for everyone at this fantastic show.
