For one week at the end of July and the beginning of August, Swanage is radiating to the sound, fun and excitement of the annual Regatta & Carnival, the South Coast’s Premier event.
This ‘must do’ attraction has so much to offer everyone, from the magnificent two mile carnival procession, vibrant with dance, sound and colour, to the beat of live bands playing on the Main Stage and in the carnival marquee.
Three amazing firework displays, art competitions for children and adults, talent show, treasure hunts, dog show, parachute jumps, and all the water and land sports, and not to be missed, the amazing Red Arrows, about one hundred events in total and far too many to list here.
If you buy our wonderful full colour carnival magazine on line, you can plan your week’s entertainment in advance to be sure not to miss anything, it’s a great magazine to sit and browse through before you come for your holiday.
In 2013 we donated £26,400 to good causes, both local and national, and we hope to beat that this again in 2012 with the help of our sponsors and your donations.
