Dorchester

Nature & Wildlife

With so much of Dorset designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it's no surprise that there are a number of great wildlife and nature courses on offer.

Take part in courses being run by some of Dorset's RSPB sanctuaries. RSPB Arne, RSPB Radipole Lake and RSPB Lodmoor give you the chance to see some of Dorset's wildlife in its natural surroundings. There are always a number of courses running that allow you to make the most of the natural environment, whether its basket weaving or woodland workshops. Highway Farm the Kingcombe Centre, the Fine Foundation Marine Centre and Walford Mill Crafts provide extensive events throughout the year that give you the chance to learn new skills and crafts.

The Dorset Wildlife Trust also runs plenty of walks, talks and volunteer days for you to get involved in and enjoy Dorset's rich wildlife.

For more courses and events use the search box and search Nature/Green Events under type.
