Knoll Gardens - Foundation Charity Open Days
Participatory Event
Knoll Gardens Foundation Charity Open Days are being held to promote the Knoll Gardens Foundation, a charity set up to secure the long-term future of the gardens and promote sustainable gardening.
The Dorset Wildlife Trust and the RSPB will be present and the RSPB will be running events at each Open Day (apart from July).
RSPB events:
April 27 Birdsong in the Garden, 6-8am. Limited numbers, book on 07703 607630 or e-mail: sarah-jane.buckle@rspb.org.uk (free day follows as normal from 10am)
May 25, Plant your own mini wildflower pot
June 29, Make a bee house
August 31, Wildlife Bingo and face painting (family event)
September 28, Signs of autumn challenge
October 26, Bird feeder making
Cream teas and garden tours are also available.
Come and enjoy the glorious grasses, birds and butterflies and also find out about the gardens’ new volunteer programme.
Outside the free open days Knoll Gardens opens to paying visitors from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 – 5pm, and also on Sundays in September and October from 10 – 5pm (closing at 4pm in November and December.) For more information go to www.knollgardens.co.uk.
