Bridport Summer Festival of Culture

EXPERIENCE BRIDPORT’S FESTIVAL OF CULTURE , 11 - 27 August 2012
Love Culture, Love Local, Love Life
This summer, the vibrant seaside market town of Bridport invites all national and international visitors to Weymouth’s and Portland's Olympic sailing events to experience its first Festival of Culture. Bridport, cultural gateway to the stunning Jurassic Coast, will burst into life with a dizzying and dazzling programme of events, sights and sounds. Visit the Festival of Culture’s fantastic website www.festivalofculture.com for a taste of what to expect. The Festival of Culture is the brainchild of Spirit of Bridport www.spiritofbridport.org - an inspirational community collaboration of artists, musicians, community groups, traders and townspeople.
“What makes our Festival truly unique is that the whole town is involved. The entire community of Bridport will work together to showcase the very best they and the town have to offer. Festival-goers will wake up each day to a town that’s buzzing, with a diverse range of fantastic things to do, see, learn, hear and eat. It’s a wonderful place to live and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.” Tamsin Chandler, Festival Director
