Christchurch Information Centre
Christchurch Information Centre is located on the High Street in the heart of this very pretty Saxon town. From here a gentle walk to the Historic Quarter takes you to the magnificent 11century Christchurch Priory, Red House Museum & Gardens, Convent Walk & Norman Hall Ruins, Christchurch Castle ruins and Place Mill.
Our helpful and friendly team of volunteers will guarantee visitors a warm welcome and help you to plan and make the most of your stay. We have plenty of free information on local attractions, places to visit, events and activities and local bus and train timetables. We can also advise you on accommodation booking.
For local residents our knowledgeable team will offer advice on a variety of services to be enjoyed throughout the year.
We book tickets for films and shows at the Regent Centre and TheLighthouse in Poole. We also book for the BIC and Pavillion Theatre in Bournemouth - a booking fee applies.
A trip up to London? Pop in and buy your National Express ticket from us. We book tickets for National Express Coaches to all UK and European destinations. We also sell the Senior Coach Travel Card and Disabled Coach Travel Cards offering holders 30% discount on all tickets and valid for one year.
Fancy a day trip? We are agents for local coach companies offering an extensive range of day trips with Solent, Seaview, Highcliffe and Discover Dorset.
A few days away? We book British and European coach holidays for Angela and Highcliffe Coaches.
We also sell tickets for many summer events - Bournemouth Shakespeare Players in Priory Gardens, the New Forest Show, Great Dorset Steam Fair, Romsey Show, Dorset County Show and Yeolvilton Air Festival. We sell programmes for the Wheels Festival and Bournemouth Air Festival.
We have an excellent selection of walking, cycling books and maps and a complete series of local history and interest books and DVD's.
We suppport CadArts, the local art and craft movement and isplay and sell their work.
