Having moved in to the building in September 2010, we’re running it as an artist-led space for all types of artists to visit, create and showcase their work.
We also have our own Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company based in the building. Our productions are made here and there is a puppet laboratory upstairs where new puppets are born!
We make family friendly shows including The Little Red Hen, The Elves & The Shoemaker, The Hare & The Tortoise, The 3 Little Pigs and The Enormous Turnip (you might have spotted our Enormous Turnip Caravan pootling around the streets of Bridport!).
We don’t have a seasonal programme like many venues, but instead we have special events once or twice a month, a variety of classes and our hugely popular puppet club for budding puppet makers/puppeteers ranging in age from 7 to 60.
