Moors Valley Country Park and Forest
Disabled access and facilities include wheelchair and mobility scooter hire (pre-booking required) and wheelchair bikes. A ‘Changing Places’ standard toilet with height adjustable changing bench and hoist is available at the Visitor Centre.
The Rangers organise over 300 events for adults and children throughout the year. For children there are numerous holiday activities - from ‘Nuts about Nature’ wildlife discovery sessions to fishing tuition and adventure bike rides. Adults can choose from a variety of guided walks and cycle rides, as well as the opportunity to try something different like Nordic Walking or Fitness Buggy Workouts.

Entrance to the park is free but car parking charges apply, season tickets are available. Various facilities in the park also incur a charge, ie railway, golf, cycle hire and Go Ape.

* The Country Park is open every day except Christmas Day from 8am. Closing time is at 5.00pm from September to March, at 6.00pm from April to May and at 7.00pm from June to August. Additional facilities on site have varying opening times ie. Visitor Centre, Seasons Restaurant, Moors Valley Railway, Golf Centre, Cycle Hire and Go Ape.
