Whether you want to explore our number of great museums, spend the day at one of the many animal farms and parks or have some adventure at our superb activity centres, Dorset really has some of the best family attractions to be found anywhere!

Monkey World is one of the most renowned ape rescue centres in the world with over 230 rescued and endangered apes and monkeys. A great day out for your little monkeys!

Moors Valley Country Park has something for everyone. Set in 1000 acres of parkland and forest you can explore the way marked trails, tree-top walkways and tackle the high wire adventure.

Enjoy some fun down on the farm at Honeybrook. This is a great day out for little ones with a brilliant adventure playground and a number of nature based activities.

For your little soldiers that think big is best the Tank Museum is a must. Learn the story of the tank and look around a massive display of armoured vehicles; you can even take part in a trench experience. Tonnes of fun for everyone!
