From the west: the nearest mainline train station is Wareham (on the London Waterloo to Weymouth line). Catch the number 40 Wilts and Dorset bus from Wareham Station to Swanage Bus/Train Station (this bus route starts in Poole). Then switch to the Wilts and Dorset number 50 to Studland.

From the east: Catch the train to Bournemouth then switch to the Wilts and Dorset bus number 50 to Studland. You can buy a combined train and bus ticket from any staffed South West Train station for this journey.
