Nature and Wildlife

With so much of Dorset an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) it's no surprise at the number of great wildlife and nature courses that are going on at any one time.
RSPB Events

Dorset has a great number of course and event providers that are always giving you the chance to work with nature and learn new skills. Take part in courses being run by some of Dorset's RSPB sanctuaries. RSPB Arne, RSPB Radipole Lake and RSPB Lodmoor give you the chance to see some of Dorset's wildlife in its natural surroundings.

Willow WeavingThere are always a number of courses running that allow you to make the most of the natural environment, whether its basket weaving or woodland workshops. Highway Farm the Kingcombe Centre, the Fine Foundation Marine Centre and Walford Mill Crafts provide extensive events throughout the year that give you the chance to learn new skills and crafts. With so much going on you'll be spoilt for choice!

The Dorset Wildlife Trust also runs plenty of walks, talks and volunteer days for you to get involved in and enjoy Dorset's rich wildlife.
