Dorset Food & Drink Events
Dorset is renowned for its local produce and as well as the regular farmers' markets around the county, Dorset hosts a range of events celebrating the delectable delights of the county.
Beerex Beer Festival, 2nd - 3rd April. Wareham Beer Festival sampling real ales, wines, ciders, perrys and soft drinks from across the country.
Italian Market - Italia in Piazza, 11th April. 'Italia in Piazza' is a real Italian food market and is coming to Christchurch. Buy authentic Italian produce including cheeses, cured meat, pasta, olives, cakes and specialty breads.
Christchurch Food and Wine Festival, 7th - 16th May. Christchurch hosts a week of mouth-watering events in restaurants, pubs and hotels in Christchurch. From bangers and mash to fine dining. There will be themed meals, demonstrations and lots of food and drink!
Annual Nettle Eating Contest, 12th June. The World Nettle Eating Championships makes an annual return to The Bottle Inn where competitors battle to eat more nettle leaves than the others.
