Cerne Abbas Giant

Cerne Abbas Giant

High on a hill over the pretty village of Cerne Abbas is a 180ft high male figure carved out of chalk believed to be an ancient symbol of fertility. It's got to be seen to be believed!

Weymouth Harbour and Boats  Weymouth

 An elegant Georgian seafront, a safe sandy     beach and exciting year round events makes Weymouth a  top British seaside resort. Weymouth is the only other    Olympic venue during the London 2012 Games so if   you don't fancy heading to London - come to Dorset.

Corfe Castle

Visit the dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle, Dorset's iconic medieval monument - perfect for adventurers of any age! Wander around the historic village and take a steam train to the beach at Swanage.

Golden Cap on the Jurassic Coast

Monkey World

Sherborne Abbey Sherborne Abbey

 Travel to Sherborne to see the elegant 15th Century     Sherborne Abbey which boasts a beautiful stone, fan     vaulted ceiling and the heaviest ring of eight bells in       the world! Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon in   Sherborne and stroll around the town.

Christchurch's Highcliffe Castle and Priory Church

Dorset is packed full with history and heritage and you can visit some of the best historical attractions at Christchurch. See the romantic seaside Highcliffe Castle built in the 1830's or visit Priory Church in Christchurch dating back to 1094.

Gold HillGold Hill

Gold Hill in Shaftesbury is a picture postcard of Dorset and quintessentially English. Make your way to the top of the hill and you'll see stunning views of the surrounding Dorset countryside.

Wimborne

Explore quaint streets and hidden courtyards in Wimborne. There are a variety of small shops and lively weekly markets as well as the medieval church, Wimborne Minster.

Lyme Regis Harbour Lyme Regis

 Lyme Regis is a narrow maze of streets and shops          winding their way down to the harbour with its famous        Cobb and breath-taking views of the surrounding Jurassic  coastline.
