The Cerne Abbas Giant or the 'Rude Man' is one of the largest hillfigures in Britain and is surrounded by many myths and folklores.  Certain legends asssociated with the giant predict that a woman will be blessed with fertility and that the couple will enjoy a happy marriage.

Go down on one knee at the spectacular viewpoint by St Catherine's Chapel.  The iconic hilltop chapel commands one of the best views of Chesil Beach and the Fleet Lagoon in Dorset and will make a memorable proposal, especially at sunset.
